Buffalo Chicken Dip

My Favorite Buffalo Chicken Dip

A creamy, spicy dip made with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and cheese, perfect for game days, parties, or casual gatherings.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie or cooked)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and mix until combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the dip is hot and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more buffalo sauce or cayenne pepper.
  • If the dip is too runny, add more cheese or cream cheese to thicken it.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
