Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of the slow cooker and place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1.5–2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Shred the chicken or serve whole, and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, swap the chicken broth for vegetable stock or a splash of white wine.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before shredding to keep it juicy.
